AI Build Lab / Learn · The Lab · Members

Slack is where we hang. Not a help desk.

300+ builders and counting

The private Lab channel inside the AIBL workspace. Ask, answer, show what you shipped. This is where the room lives between sessions.

The Lab channel · members only

The Lab lives in three places. This is the second.

Your invite arrives by email within one business day of joining, and lands you in the members-only channel inside the AIBL workspace. Already in the workspace from a course? The Lab channel is added to you; look for it in your sidebar.

  1. Say hi, today. Who you are, what you're building. One line each.
  2. Post what you shipped. A screenshot, a link, the prompt that finally worked.
  3. Help the person one step behind you. That is most of what the channel is.

The deal: we keep the good stuff coming. You keep your wheels off.

What it's for

Hanging out. Chatting. Sharing breakthroughs.

What you shipped. What broke in a funny way. The prompt that finally worked. Questions that come with what you already tried. Helping the person one step behind you.

What we fix, fast

Anything that's ours.

A prompt that's missing. A drop that doesn't do what we said. A link that goes nowhere. A perk that won't claim. Tell us in the channel and we fix it for everyone.

What it isn't

There is no ticket number.

No help desk. No one-to-one debugging in DMs. No "quick question" that is secretly forty minutes. Your setup, your customisations and your 11pm "why won't it" are yours to fly.

Stuck? · Largely self-serve, on purpose

Fly, little birdie. The training wheels come off here.

Four rungs

The Lab is a membership, not an intensive. We hand you the assets. You and your agent take it from there. Your agent is really, really smart. Pointing it at your own problem is the skill. If we work it out for you, we've taken the lesson off you.

01

Ask your agent first.

Paste the error. Say what you expected. It has read more manuals than all of us put together.

02

Ask it again, better.

"Explain what went wrong like I'm new. What are three things you'd try next?"

03

Still stuck? Post in the Lab channel.

What you tried, what your agent said, one screenshot. Someone has hit it before you.

04

Keeps coming up? Request a session.

Post it on Requests, or offer to host one, and upvote the ones you want. Until the board is live, the Lab channel.

One expectation

Demo Days need demos.

Next: Tue Sep 29
The rule

A working build, however small. Not a slide.

Members show working builds and the whole room asks questions. Put your hand up early. Conns is going first.

How to put your hand up

One line in the Lab channel.

What you'll show, and which Demo Day. We slot you in and confirm on the session's page.

What counts

Something that runs.

A 23-agent fleet counts. So does one skill that saved you an hour this week. Small and real beats big and imagined.

A members list needs the backend

Names, what each person is building, and where to find them in the channel. It reads from the membership records, so it lands when that wiring exists. Until then, the channel is the directory.
