More detail: Open your dashboard
Optional reading for this lesson. Everything you must do or decide is in the lesson.
This page goes with the Week 4 lesson Open your dashboard (course/workforce/week4/lessons/anw-w4-l09.md). You don't need it to finish the lesson. Read it when you want the longer version.

Acting on it
Every number on the dashboard is read from a record. You act on what you see in one click: grade a reply yourself (Save my grades saves and seals your grades; until then Evy's grade on that reply stays hidden from you), press a button on something that needs you, or type to your Chief of Staff in its box. Each of those runs your Chief or Evy here, on your own subscription; the dashboard checks that before anything runs. Nothing on the page sends, posts, deletes, pays or touches an account. Each button also shows the words to say to your Chief (or to Evy) in the app's chat, for example "Grade the cold-food reply with me".
Only the window the dashboard opens in your browser can act. Any other copy of the page only reads, and its buttons show the words to say. Evy never acts on the dashboard.
Where it lives and how to start it
The dashboard ships in your workbench, in the folder workforce/dashboard-live/: the page and the small program that serves it. Open your dashboard from the Preview button and pick "My Workforce dashboard", or ask your Chief how. It opens in your own browser, ready for you to act on in one click. Each button also shows what to tell your Chief.
It runs on your computer
The dashboard is a page served from your own computer, for you. Nobody else can open it. To show someone, show your screen, or use your proof page.
You open it from the app's Preview button. No agent can start it, and the agents it runs for you can't start another one.
What the work would cost
On Evals, each team's Cost if on the API box is the total for the jobs shown, with the dates in their job names. A job folder's name starts with the day it was made, so that date is what you see. Under What each job would cost on the API, each job shows its cost, its tokens and how the cost was worked out: your own rate table, or OpenAI's published rates for a Codex run. These come from each job's pricing record in its job folder; the dashboard only adds them up.
On a Claude or ChatGPT subscription you didn't pay this; it's what the same work would cost on the API. It helps you see whether a team is worth what it would cost, and where a smaller team would do. A job with no cost on record says "not recorded" and isn't in the total; it never shows as $0. A job in your grading sample still shows its cost, but nothing of Evy's grade until you grade it yourself.
When a number looks wrong
Each number comes from one record. Ask your Chief which one. If the record and the dashboard disagree, that's a fault in the dashboard, and your Chief can report it. If the record itself is wrong, the fix is in the record, never on the dashboard.
